Hi . . . Obama intends to leave lots of troops in Iraq:

"Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda."

From Obama's official website. He has also said many times that he intends to continue to stay in Iraq to fight al Qaeda.

Obama has no intention of getting us completely out of Iraq.

Hillary wouldn't be much different either. It makes you realize when it's all said and done that when it comes to foreign policy will there be much difference between Republicans and Dems.

I met with Congressman Jim McGovern (D-Mass) right before the New Hampshire primary. He is supporting Sen. Clinton. When asked about her Iraq policy, he said the exact same thing: leave some troops in Iraq to protect embassy, contractors, civilians and to continue the fight against Al Qaeda. Unfortunately the Iraq policy of the two Democratic candidates is identical. Whoever of the two becomes POTUS, we'll need to keep up the pressure to remove ALL troops from Iraq. Thanks for listening.
