I think that by "accusing" Bachmann's husband of being gay (nevermind the five children they had) you are exposing yourselves as homophobic. There is only something wrong with being gay or bisexual, as you insinuate he is, if you think there is something wrong with being a man that isn't "manly" according to your standards. I think it's a salacious accusation and really disgusting.
In addition to that, you said Obama was a "statesman" rather than a politician, which is really ridiculous. Obama is 100% a politician, and he cares about nothing but getting elected. He left us all in the dust a long time ago, and you continue to crush on him like schoolgirls. Wake up, wakeup AM. Your boyfriend is destroying Social Security and Medicare, something Bush didn't even have the balls to do. We don't even have a debt crisis, it's all manufactured. The debt ceiling is manufactured. Obama is in on it, has been from the beginning, and his goal is to undo the New Deal. I will never vote for him or any other fake Democrat again.
Obama is clearly a Republican and that's why he has the support of Wall Street and John Boehner himself.
Lighten up Shelly. The reason Bachmann's sexuality would be an issue is that HE thinks there is something wrong with that. It's about his hypocrisy and the fundamental flaws of his and his wife's beliefs. It is not homophobia on the part of the WakeUpAM folks. Give me a break.
People such as yourself who feel a need to attack good people are the best thing that the Republicans have going for them. For centuries, the path to power has been splintering the opposition and turning them against each other. You are holding up your end of the Republican agenda very well.
Accusing Brian of having a crush on Obama is ludicrous, and Meg, Nancy, and Kathy have called him to task for every shortcoming, every step of the way. They have been dedicated and reliable, and have been giving away their Thursday mornings for all of us. How much time have YOU actually put in to making things better over the past decade. If you are going to compare yourself to Wake Up America, you have a pretty high bar to clear.
The folks at Wake Up AM are doing great work to build a better nation. They are educating and inspiring people on a large scale, and they have done it consistently and with humanity and humor.
You are clearly a Republican,at least more so than the President. You are working towards the day when we elect President Bachmann, and you do not even realize that you are doing it. Stop doing the Republican's work for them. They don't need your help. Get involved with the folks who are working, albeit incrementally, for a better America.

I've been listening for awhile, and I really like what you do.
On episode # 264, you said that if there were any graphic designers who wanted to create a new logo, that you needed one. I can't really afford to donate money, but I can sure donate some artwork.
